YES WE CAN! - Healthy start and Fibromyalgia

Spaceball Spaceball 080904obamabarack With Barack Obama elected as our next president we are all shouting “YES WE CAN.” We are moved to an positive outlook, with hope and change.  I have been chatting with many people recently who are telling me they are ready to make a change with their health. I am excited to consult them and help start their healthy journey.  More great testimonies will be shared in the future.
People are ready to change their diets, start taking supplements for vitamins and nutritions and get on a good colon cleanse. The holiday seasons are upon us so lots of people tell me that at the beginning of the year they will be ready to cleanse. So as we induct our new president into office people will be cheering and then logging onto www.motherknowsbest.net to order their herbal cleanse program.

Don't miss this celebration on blogtalk for cancer awareness month.

My new blogtalk radio show has been a blast. I enjoy sharing various topics each week to my listeners, along with great guests.

Medina copy We had a master herbalist from the Chicago area, Medina J. Nance share her experience of reversing Lupus without ever having to take prescription drugs for the condition. She continues to stay Lupus free with the 90 day colon cleanse and practicing a healthy lifestyle. She has also guided many of her clients in dealing with Lupus, other autoimmune disorders and other health challenges. We discussed how conditions like Hepatitis C can be dealt with by doing healthy programs that cleanse and strengthen the liver. Our thoughts went out to the singer, Natalie Cole, age 58, who is presently dealing with complications from Hepatitis Natalie C. Recently, it was reported she is on kidney dialysis. Our prayers go out to Natalie Cole. She has always been one of my favorite singers.

Other guests on my show included Rhonda Kuykendall-Jabari of http://www.wellnessuprising.com, one of my dear fellow natural health specialists from sunny California. As a Reiki practitioner and a Warm Spirit rep. she had some awesome self-care tips that will make you want to hurry up and grab some soy candles and take a relaxing bath. On this same show of HeadshotMed preventative health and self-care tips we had a surprise guest call in, massage therapist and author from Detroit, Michigan, Versandra Kennebrew. Versandra always has an interesting project going on. Watch this youtube from one of Versandra’s visits to Chicago at http://apps.massageyourspouse.com/Blog/

Do you need the flu shot? Consider naturally boosting your immune system.

The topic on my recent blogtalk radio show was talking about the flu shot and natural alternatives. The archive is available to listen to at:
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/momshealthyradioshow

Check out more details on the flu shot:
Doubts Grow Over Flu Vaccine in Elderly – NYTimes.com

Youtube video – what’s in a flu shot
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWfCnjnShnM

The Flu vaccine contains:
-    mercury
-    aluminum
-    (Aluminum is added to promote an antibody response. It is a neurotoxin that may play a role in Alzheimer’s disease.)
-    formaldehyde (cancer causing agent)
-    ethylene glycol (antifreeze)

To prevent the flu:
-    Avoid sugar. It suppresses immunity.
-    Avoid Omega-6 vegetable oils (corn, safflower, sunflower, peanut, canola, and soybean oil). Americans consume 50 times more of these oils than are necessary for good health. In this amount they are powerful immune suppressants.
-    Take a well-balanced multivitamin/mineral capsule on a daily basis.
-    Eat garlic.
-    Manage stress.
-    Exercise.
-    Get enough rest.
-    And wash your hands. Viruses spread most often from touching contaminated objects, like doorknobs, phones, shared computer keyboards, and shaking hands..

What your herbalist recommends:
Silver shield Silver Shield is an awesome product. Provides more powerful support to the immune system. In a recent report from the Microbiology Department at Brigham Young University found that a nano-particle silver solution was effective in destroying over a dozen of today’s most dangerous bacteria, including Samonella, E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Streptococcus pneumoniae. Also, a long list of viruses.
NSP Silver Shield has been studied extensively in in vitro and human trials. It has proven to be two to three times more effective than other commercial colloidal silver products, and it has outperformed some other products.
This is product no home should be without!

My blogtalk show this week: The Flu Shot

Btbanner

This Thursday night, October 2nd, at 10 p.m. central standard time, I will host my new show for the second week. Please check out my blogtalk radio show “Mom’s Healthy Radio Show” where I chat with my guest about health alternatives, the latest health issues in the news, testimonies from men and women who have seen awesome results from changing over to a healthier lifestyle and using herbs to help deal with serious health issues. The topic this week is “Herbal Flu shot.” It should be interesting to hear if we really need to go out a get a Flu shot or not or can we just use natural ways to build our immune systems.

My guest co-host this week is:
Tally Green of Georgia, my dear online healthy buddy and fellow baby boomer diva. We chat all the time on anti-aging, herbs, aromatherapy and more and I am glad to say she will be joining me on my show. She will share some knowledge on aromatherapy and fighting viruses. The use of essential oils is wonderful to kill viruses, bacteria and fungus.
Checkout Tally’s website if you want more information on essential oils. Tally is a distributor for Young Living Oils http://www.healthywomencafe.biz/.

The music for my radio show is provided by Moshe of http://www.myspace.com/moshetry. If you are seeking more positive hip hop with a message you will find it on his site. Moshe has just released his latest CD but he has been around for years. He rapped with the popular gospel rap group Sons of Jacob and now doing some solo projects!

The article I recommend often when speaking of natural health is on Nutrient Robbing Drugs. People on prescription drugs don’t realize the way drugs rob you of important nutrients. Read this article written by a dietitian and nutritionist:

The change of seasons, good time to cleanse

It is the change of the season again. The summer flew past. I enjoyed my summer, but it just went too quick.
Well folks, it that time again to do a good colon cleanse. I always recommend to my clients to cleanse during the change of seasons and now we are going into fall, so this is a good time for the awesome Cleanstart 14 day cleanse. I double up this cleanse sometimes and do it for 4 weeks. This cleanse is CleanStart061005 easy because it comes pre-packaged. You just put the powdered packet in your juice each morning then drink. Supplements also come with the program including your natural laxative LBS II and Enviro-Detox to help rid all the toxins and waste that has accumulated in your body. Cleansing gives you extra energy, helps your skin clear up and helps kill those cravings for junk food.
Try the Cleanstart program and let me know how you like it:

-    It is a good start for loosing weight.
-
-    Helps deal with chronic diseases, such as autoimmune disorders. I have had lots of people contacting lately because of Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Arthritis and MS. The first thing I tell them they need to do is cleanse, cleanse, cleanse. They are usually filled with toxins, waste and parasites. People get good results from cleansing.

-
Stop by and read the pages below about natural alternatives to health and colon cleansing.
To do the GRANDDADDY cleanse, we recommend people do this program for 90 days. Read more about it here and learn what the signs are to tell that you need a cleanse:
http://www.squidoo.com/90daycoloncleanse

More interesting facts on natural alternatives:
http://www.squidoo.com/momsherbs

This week’s specials at Nature Sunshine include:
ACIDOPHILUS 15% OFF-INTERNET ONLY
Good for the intestinal tract.

BRONCHIAL FORMULA $1 OFF
Supports the respiratory system

HSN-W CAPSULES $2 OFF
One of my favorite supplements I take for my thinning hair. I can see results! It is a special herbal blend for Hair, skin and nails.

Herbs are great and no side effects!
I notice how people with various illnesses end up on several medications, which include anti-depressants. What people don’t realize is that the medications rob them of nutrients from their bodies, like calcium, and then they end up needing an anti-depressant along with all the other meds. But they need to try more natural alternatives and supplement their bodies with nutrients. This is often the root of the problem in the first place.
I like to share this article with clients:
Nutrient Stealing Drugs

People, do the research for yourself. If you have any questions or concerns contact me at momsherbs@gmail.com or post your questions here on my healthy blog.

Have a great week!
